A serving Senator representing Zuru South Senatorial District in Kebbi State, Sen. Bala Ibn Na Allah has come under attack for allegedly not assisting victims of banditry in some villages under the Zuru Local Government Area of the state.
Hon. Dantani Ango Yellow, a resident of the LGA made the allegation in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday, which according to him for all the years of banditry which is plaguing some selected villages in Zuru, Na Allah has never as Senator visited, assisted or even sympathize with the victims who has been sheltered in primary schools and some in open spaces being bitten by rainfalls.
He noted that most of them have lost their acquired houses and valuables fifty years ago but the senator never cares.
He posited that Bala’s poor and uncaring attitudes to the plights of his constituents have given birth to a new call for a change of baton from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Yellow, however, said that Garba Musa Mai Doki is now the choice of Zuru people particularly Zuru south constituents, who are not satisfied with Bala’s representation in the upper chamber.
He describes Mai Doki as a core philanthropist who has built the youth and create employment through mattress companies while a large chunk of them interested in farming were given assistance therefore already showing signs of a good leader.
He explained that another thing is the deplorable road from Koko to Zuru which is highly immotorable “it takes at least four hours in a journey of one hour, we have been appealing to Bala to do something about the road by pressurising the federal government to fix it but till today nothing has been done, our people plying the road are suffering so we need change”.
On the agitation of people of Yauri who never had a shot of Kebbi south, Yellow said Yauri, Ngaski and Shanga are all PDP because of mai doki, they have mobilised and agreed to support the PDP candidate to defeat Bala.
