Keke Palmer has condemned her former mentor R Kelly, saying ‘that’s not the person I knew’.
Kelly, 52, has been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal abuse, as well as 11 additional charges of sexual assault, all of which he has pleaded not guilty to.
His arrest came after the broadcast of Surviving R Kelly, a Lifetime documentary which explored the allegations of sexual and physical abuse made against the R’n’B singer by a string of women.
And Keke, who counted the Ignition singer as a friend as well as working with him throughout his career, admitted that watching the documentary confused her, as she seen a different side to Kelly. Read more
