It was Arthur Miller who said that “A good newspaper, I suppose, is a nation talking to itself.”
This can also be said of poems, essays and indeed, all forms of writing. The organisers of the Lagos Book and Art Festival (LABAF) and those who attend know this fact to be sacred. This is why LABAF is hosting the presentation of SILVER LINING, an anthology of poetry and essays by members of the Poets, Essayists and Novelists.
