History is the past as it is described in written documents, and the study thereof. However, when you take a great book like Tunde Leye’s Afonja: The Rise, sprinkle in performers who know their craft and ‘stage’ it at the Amphitheatre at serene Freedom Park, what you get is a night to remember. It is the SPECIAL ARTHOUSE FORUM, meant for only special people. One has to be present at LABAF to experience it firsthand.
