If the Lagos Book and Art Festival 2019 were to be a concert, Awam Amkpa would be a headlining artiste. But really, that is what he is. The Nigerian actor, playwright, and professor of dramatic arts will be delivering the keynote in which he will be speaking on the very important theme: ‘EMERGE: Breaking into the NEW’.
Currently a professor of Drama and Cultural Theory at the departments of Drama, Tisch School of the Arts and Social and Cultural Analysis, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at New York University, his is a very important paper not just for stakeholders but for everyone who loves the arts.
