Lady Gaga is team Cardi B all the way and defended the rapper’s Grammys win.
Cardi made history at this year’s Grammys Awards and became the first ever solo female artist to scoop up the prize for best rap album.
Initially she was thrilled about her win and stayed up to 6am thanking fans for their support, but Cardi later deleted Instagram after being left frustrated at the backlash directed at her.
Some accused her of not being ‘deserving’ of the accolade, while others – including Ariana Grande (who insisted she has no beef with Cardi) – questioned why the award wasn’t given to Mac Miller following his posthumous nomination. Read more
