Lagos APC Rally: Apathy looms as voters doubt participation in election (Independent)

Following the bloody fight that broke at the flag off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Lagos State, voters have expressed doubt over their security on the election day.

During the rally, no fewer than five people were feared dead from gunshots, with several people, including journalists, sustaining injuries, while many lost their personal effects.

One of the major personalities brutally injured at the rally was a leader of the National Union of Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo.

Reacting, voters said the fight, which was believed to be between the NURTW members, may escalate on electionโ€™s day.

They expressed fear that MC Oluomoโ€™s team would likely want to avenge on the electionโ€™s day.
