The Lagos State Chief Judge, Justice Opeyemi Oke, on Tuesday, inaugurated a training institute established to update judiciary workers on developments in the law, as well as to expose them to international best practices.
Oke said the setting up of the institute was in pursuant to the Lagos State Judicial Institute Law 2007 which served as the principal focal point of judicial activities relating to the promotion of efficiency, uniformity and improvement in the quality of judicial services in the superior and inferior courts.
She noted that the institute would be charged with conducting courses for all categories of judicial officers and supporting staff of the Lagos State judiciary with a view to expanding their overall knowledge and performance. Read more
