Lagos pilgrims board gets new secretary

The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has welcomed its newly appointed Board Secretary, Mr. AbdulHakeem Ajomagberin, who officially assumed his duties with a commitment to elevate the Boardโ€™s service delivery standards.

During his reception on Wednesday, Ajomagberin addressed Heads of Departments and staff, requesting their full cooperation in achieving the Boardโ€™s mandate of providing a positive experience for pilgrims undertaking Hajj and Umrah.

Acknowledging his appointment as an opportunity to serve, he stressed the importance of teamwork and expressed his appreciation to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Shuaeeb Agoro for their trust.

Ajomagberin, an experienced administrator, previously held the position of Director, Administration and Human Resource at the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. (Guardian)
