Let’s make Lagos stand like a country, Obasa tells lawmakers at Plenary (Punch)

The Speaker, Lagos House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has admonished the lawmakers to work towards making the state to stand as a country, such that it will not have to wait for subventions from the Federation Account.

Obasa spoke on Thursday at a plenary as lawmakers who resumed from the recess  they had taken for the general elections thanked God and Lagosians for their reelection for the 9th Assembly

The lawmakers also took turns to hail the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, party stakeholders and constituents for their reelection.

The successful lawmakers commended Obasa for “shouldering” their matters as his, and giving them necessary support. Read more
