Mohamed Salah has quashed talk of a possible rift with Liverpool team-mate Sadio Mane after posting a hilarious video on Twitter ahead of the side’s clash with Newcastle.
During Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Burnley, Salah refused to pass to Mane when the Senegalese had a clear sight of goal in the dying moments of the game and instead opted for a shot himself which was comfortably saved by Nick Pope.
Mane reacted furiously as he was replaced by Divock Origi shortly after the play and it appeared his anger was as a result of Egyptian’s selfishness in front of goal. Read more
