Liverpool supporters’ union, Spirit of Shankly, have been invited by The Football Supporters’ Association to an online VAR briefing.
The event will be hosted by Mike Riley, general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited group, and will include a presentation relating specifically to VAR.
The presentation will cover subjects like the procedures and processes of decision making, interpretation and effectiveness, with Riley joined by his deputy, Adam Gale-Watts.
The PGMOL are responsible for 550 match officials across the Premier League, EFL and non-league, and have so far this season came in criticism for the use of VAR during games.
