Billions of euros will be given away in the annual Spanish lottery El Gordo, which will produce dozens of winners.
Spaniards are hoping for a pre-Christmas treat in their bumper version of the national lottery.
The El Gordo lottery, meaning The Fat One, will dish out €2.4bn (£2.15bn) in prize money this year, with a top prize of €400,000 for a winning ticket.
