Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele according to the club’s president, though they face a huge battle to land him.
The Frenchman – who is valued at around £70million – has enjoyed another excellent season, impressing domestically and in the Champions League, and has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Now Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has finally admitted that he would be prepared to sell Ndombele, confirming both United and City’s interest, though he’d rather the midfielder ended up at Juventus.
