An Ota Magistrates Court in Ogun, on Thursday sentenced a 47-year old man, Oluwole Jacob, to one month imprisonment for disobeying court order.
The Police charged the convict, whose address was not provided on a count charge of disobeying court ruling in a case in which he had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge.
In her ruling, Mrs S.Y.Alaba sentenced the convict to one month imprisonment without option of fine.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Insp E.O.Adaraloye, told the court that Jacob committed the offence on Nov. 30, 2022 at Magistrate Family Court, Ota.
Adaraloye said that Jacob disrespected and disobeyed the court in a case No FC/MOT/076/22, the magistrate ruled in the case.
He said that the offence contravened Section 133 of the Criminal Code, Law of Ogun, 2006.(NAN)
