A man identified as Amos Daniel has been arrested for allegedly killing a woman believed to be his girlfriend in a hotel located in the Ayobo area of Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the incident occurred on Thursday. It was gathered that Daniel checked into the hotel around 5 pm with some friends, while a female joined them later. A strange noise was, however, heard from their room at about 10 pm, drawing the attention of others in the hotel.
Speaking to our correspondent on Saturday, one of the guests who identified himself simply as Adio said the security unit was immediately alerted, and upon opening the room, he discovered the lifeless body of the deceased. (Punch)
