Manchester United could be set to welcome back both Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial from injury much sooner than initially expected.
The attacking duo suffered injury in the Red Devils’ recent 2-0 Champions League defeat to Paris-Saint Germain, with both needing to come off.
Lingard lasted just 49 minutes against the Ligue 1 giants after suffering a hamstring problem, while Martial fell victim to a groin issue himself in the first half.
The pair were initially ruled out for “two to three weeks” by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but according to the Mirror they are now likely to return sooner than that. Read more
