Manhunt after attempted abductions of three children in Greater Manchester (Metro)

A manhunt is underway after three attempted child abductions in Greater Manchester.

In two separate incidents, children were approached by a white Transit van with blacked out windows and a sliding door.

In the first incident, three people wearing balaclavas jumped out of the van and chased a girl, 14, until she reached a nearby home.

The second incident involved two 11-year-olds who were walking home when a van stopped at traffic lights.

The vehicle’s sliding door opened and a person demanded they get inside. They tried to grab one of the children’s coats but missed and the children ran off. Read more
