The Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has condemned the closure of Lagos Trade Fair market and others by Lagos State government.
It regretted that the international market built by Igbo with their money and economic prowess would be over taken by Lagos State government and allegedly backed by Bola Tinubu, who recently and eloquently manifested himself as a “core hater of Ndigbo and Christians in general.”
MASSOB, in a statement issued yesterday, through its National Director of Information, Edeson Samuel, warned that there is a limit to human endurance to oppression, and urged both Federal and Lagos governments to stop pushing Ndigbo to the wall.
It said: “MASSOB, under the leadership of Uchenna Madu, wishes to remind the federal government of Nigeria and Lagos State government that the market and business premises built by Ndigbo has an agreement under leasing, which will last for 99 years. Read more
