Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits it’s ‘difficult’ to discuss Christian Eriksen’s desire to leave the club but insists the Dane has a future in north London.
The playmaker revealed he wanted to leave the club shortly after Spurs’ 2-0 defeat in the Champions League final to Liverpool in June.
Eriksen, 27, has 12 months to run on his deal at Spurs and is likely to leave on a free transfer next summer should he fail to be granted a move this summer.
The former Ajax man has been training alone in Singapore with Pochettino revealing it is due to a small procedure that he had in June. Read more
