Narrative Landscape Press is to launch The Morning After: A Guide for Media Reporting and Prevention of Suicide in Nigeria by Olufemi Oluwatayo and Martins Ifijeh, which will hold Saturday 15 May 2021 by 11 am.
According to a statemet, the book is an insightful book on how to handle a major mental health problem hardly discussed in Nigeria—suicide.
“With chilling statistics and anecdotal references, Olufemi Oluwatayo and Martins Ifijeh reveal that there is an urgent need for sensitivity in the way suicides are reported in Nigeria, and they proffer solutions on how to prevent this silent public health challenge. The Morning After is a major work that should provoke a serious conversation on why many Nigerians are now taking their own lives,” Olusegun Adeniyi, Chair of THISDAY Editorial Board, said of the book.
