The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has cautioned international airlines against deporting Nigerian passengers after transporting them halfway to their destinations.
The NCAAโs Director of Consumer Protection and Public Affairs, Michael Achimugu, announced this in a statement on Thursday.
According to him, the practice has led to considerable distress for passengers and damaged the reputation of Nigeriaโs aviation industry.
โThese actions, which involved the refusal of boarding or denial of entry at intermediate or transit stops due to visa and travel restrictions, are completely unacceptable,โ he said. (Channels)
