For the second time in his English Premier League career, Nigeria International defender, Wilfred  Ndidi, has yet  suffered  relegation  with Leicester  City  after the Foxes  were handed a 1-0  home  defeat by  Liverpool after substitute Trent Alexander-Arnold scored the decisive goal.

While victory moved Liverpool  to  one win away from sealing the Premier League title, defeat condemned Ndidi  to  relegation for the second time  after they went down  the last time in the 2022/23 campaign.

Leicester, needing to beat the leaders to stave off relegation for a few more days, were holding their own but Alexander-Arnold fired home in the 76th minute after the ball came to him following a goalmouth scramble. (TheNation)
