Eddie Hearn has confirmed Anthony Joshua’s new opponent for his next fight will be announced early next week after Jarrell Miller’s B sample is examined.
The Matchroom promoter has been scrambling to find a heavyweight who can step in for Miller on six weeks notice.
Miller had his boxing licence in New York revoked by the state’s Athletic Commission (NYSAC) on Wednesday after the American failed a Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drug test.
Joshua and Hearn were informed of the ‘adverse finding’ earlier this week and immediately began reaching out to potential replacements. Read more
