The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed
12 new cases of the coronavirus in the country.
In a Wednesday tweet, it said the 12 new cases are in Osun, Edo and Ekiti State: โTwelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State.

Meanwhile, as at 12.38 GMT on April 1, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) tally in 206 countries and territories is 783,360 confirmed cases and 37, 203 confirmed deaths.
