Nigeria records 10 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 224

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday, reported 10 new cases of coronavirus in the country, taking the total number of infections to 224.

According to NCDC, “Ten new cases of #COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.

“As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths”.

A breakdown of cases by states show that Lagos is the epicentre for the COVID-19 in Nigeria with cases on the rise in FCT, Osun and Oyo states. Lagos- 115
