The Nigeria Senate said it has passed 229 Bills and 155 petitions since the inception of the 8th Senate.
This was revealed via the verified official Twitter handle of the red chamber, @NGRSenate, Monday, where it was also stated that the national assembly members have exposed high levels of corruption in government.
In series of tweet tagged #8thSenateFacts, the Senate said: “In the last three years, the 8th Senate has robustly carried out its constitutional duty of making legislation, conducting oversight and being responsive to the needs of the nation.
“The 8th Senate has passed 229 Bills and 155 petitions; exposed high levels of corruption in government, and worked to create more opportunities for all Nigerians through its legislative interventions,” it said.
