Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 18,480 as country records a single-day high of 745 new cases.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the new figure Thursday night via tweet on its Twitter handle.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 344 patients from isolation centres across the country adding up to 6,307 with five new deaths reported increasing the number to 475.
Lagos State topped the number of confirmed cases with 280 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 7,896.
