The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has announced the theme for the NES #27 Essay Contest – “Securing Our Future: The Fierce Urgency of Now”.
The announcement said the essay contest is open to all Nigerian undergraduates of any higher education institution (Nigeria or abroad) between the ages of 16 – 25.
“This call is for innovative ideas that clearly demonstrate the urgency for a collaborative response by all stakeholders (government at all levels, private sector and the civil society) towards securing the future of our dear nation,” NESG stated.

The organisers said entries, one per student and no more than 1,500 words, must be written in English.
Plagiarism is not accepted, while students must provide a 100-word summary of their essay, 15-second summary video of written essay.
Deadline for submission is 3rd October, 2021.
The top three students will receive paid internship at the NESG, prestigous certificate of performance, and essay summary presentation to an audience of top public/private officials at #NES27. While the top 50 students will get virtual tickets to attend the 27th Nigerian Economic Summit, October 25-26, 2021.
