Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has tentatively fixed the second week of September for the installation of the new Obaro of Kabba, Solomon Owoniyi. Bello spoke in Okene during a sallah visit by the Kabba community to thank the governor for the appointment of a new traditional ruler. Bello indicated that the coronation would take place on or before the second week of September. He said his government would not condone violence from across the length and breadth of the state as he warned criminals to stay away or face the full wrath of the law while promising to appease all aggrieved Kabba people who rejected Owoniyi’s appointment.
