Obaseki appoints Andrew Okungbowa as CPS

Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has appointed Mr Andrew Okungbowa as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS). 

The appointment of Okungbowa, a journalist and communication expert, takes immediate effect. 

Okungbowa has vast experience as an editor and media consultant, having served as the Editor, Travel and Tourism at New Telegraph and as President of the Association of Nigerian Journalists and Writers of Tourism (ANJET) .

Okungbowa graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) in 1988 and holds a Masters degree in English from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). His appointment is expected to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Governor’s media team.

The Secretary to Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., made the announcement on behalf of the Governor’s office.
