The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Osaze Ethan Uzamere as his new Chief of Staff.
In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said the appointment takes immediate effect.
This came on the heels of heightened tension in Obasekiโs camp, following reported letter of resignation tendered by the governorโs former Chief of Staff, Taiwo Akerele.
Obasekiโs aide in charge of media and communication strategy, Crusoe Osagie, had initially denied the governorโs knowledge of the resignation. (Text courtesy Guardian)
