Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has thrown a lifeline to Ander Herrera by confirming the midfielder will play again this season.
The Spaniard has played just twice since February and looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
Herrera had been keen to extend his stay at Old Trafford but the club failed to prioritise talks and the French giants look set to benefit.
