Paul Pogba is set to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a welcome boost by returning from injury for Wednesday’s EFL Cup tie against Rochdale at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old has been absent for United’s last three games after suffering an ankle injury during the 1-1 draw against Southampton at the start of September.
United’s results without Pogba have been mixed as they followed up 1-0 victories over Leicester City and Astana with a 2-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday.
The France international is set to feature over the coming week, though, with Solskjaer insisting he is ‘definitely’ in line to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night. Read more
