Olivier Giroud has urged Gonzalo Higuain to use his promising debut against Sheffield Wednesday as a springboard for further success at Chelsea.
Higuain, 31, who Juventus have loaned to Chelsea until the summer, was unable to get on the scoresheet in the FA Cup fourth-round tie but displayed excellent positional sense at Stamford Bridge.

Higuain will be in direct competition with Giroud for the central striker role at Chelsea and, in the 82nd minute, was replaced by the Frenchman who went on to set up Willian’s second goal. Read more
