Andy Murray will face James Ward, Liam Broady and Kyle Edmund upon his return to tennis at the Battle of the Brits but he has swerved what he described as the ‘group of death’.
The two-time Wimbledon champion has not played competitive tennis since November but is set to return to action on June 23 at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton
. His brother, Jamie, has organised the Battle of the Brits and was on hand to run a low key draw on Friday afternoon – where the younger brother was dubbed the ‘One Hip Wonder’.
Murray drew out the top seed Dan Evans and placed him in the Greg Rusedski Group, along with Jay Clarke, Cam Norrie and Jack Draper. (Metro)
