The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has expressed disappointment and frustration after an orphanage home in Rivers State, owned and funded by the state government, rejected a young girl abandoned at his gate.

The clergyman took to his social media handle to express his disappointment, saying the father of the 14-year-old girl dropped her at his gate and left without means of identification.

He explained that the girl was first taken to the Nigerian police special Area Rumuokoro, where she received care and feeding.

However, when she was taken to the orphanage home in Borokiri, the management refused to accept her, claiming that OPM had the capacity to cater for her. (Guardian)
