Reno Omokri, ex-media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has taken up Adams oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his statement that “government houses should not be occupied by entertainers”.
Omokri, who also posted a photograph of Oshiomhole dancing at the recent rally held in Katsina before Saturday’s by-election, noted that “entertainers make good leaders,” just as he went ahead to cite former US President Ronald Reagan as example.
However, Omokri believes the claim is proof of Oshimhole’s “lack of intellect”, and questions his place in government.
Before emerging President of the United States, Reagan appeared in more than 50 movies, and even worked as the President of the Screen Actors’ Guild while in Hollywood.
A tweet via Omokri’s handle, @renoomokri, read: “Just negodu the man who said ‘government houses should not be occupied by entertainers’! What is he doing here? Oshiomhole lacks the intellect to know that the greatest US President in the last 40 years was Ronald Reagan-An ENTERTAINER. Entertainers make good leaders.”
Aside the Katsina APC rally, Oshiomhole has been pictured dancing at other political events.
