Nigerian-American gospel act, Ife Smith a.k.a. Ifeeh Sado has released her first-ever single, titled “Overcome”. The single mum of one may be new in the game of gospel music but is versatile, ready to explore the industry and also blow in no time.

Music started a long time ago for her and is an everyday thing as she does it anywhere, anytime.

She joined the MSC in 2016 where she sang and was also a backup singer for Adaora, a talented gospel artiste.

The prolific songwriter, who is a lover of God and a beautiful lady with many qualities, was encouraged by her mentor, Adaora, to resume writing and the rest is history.

“Overcome”, to be released today, May 1, 2020, is inspired by a real life story and talks about overcoming fear, depression, fate, problems, etc., because we serve a living God and with the power of Christ in us, we can and we’ll always overcome.

We all face different situations in life and somehow manage to cope with them. Well, that “somehow” is God.

“I always had the song in mind and when I started writing again, it was the fifth song I wrote but the first to be produced. I get very emotional every time I sing it because it reminds me of what God has done and still does in my life. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it,” she said.

Ifeeh Sadoh, who hails from Ondo State, revealed she would like to share the stage with the likes of Dunsin Oyekan, Peter Tobe (my producer for “Overcome”), Lauren Daigle, Adaora (a great mentor and dear friend), Onos Ariyo, JJ Hairston, Jumbo Ane, Mercy Chinwo and Jessica Reedy to name a few.

“Overcome” will be available on all music platforms, download, listen and share.
