Passenger dies on plane after swallowing 246 packets of cocaine (Metro)

An airline passenger went into cardiac arrest after ingesting a large amount of drugs.

The Japanese man, 42, identified only as Udo ‘N’, died shortly after takeoff from Mexico City on Friday.

He suffered a drug overdose after swallowing 246 packets of cocaine, authorities said.

The prosecutor’s office added other passengers reported seeing the man convulsing as the Aeromexico flight headed for Narita, Japan. Read more
