Paul Scholes’ son, 19, accused of beating up man in pub (Metro)

Paul Scholes’ teenage son has appeared in court accused of beating up a man in a pub.

Aaron Scholes, 19, is alleged to have attacked Robert Kember at an unnamed pub in Oldham, last June.

Mr Kember was not able to give full details of his ordeal due to the ‘nature of the assault and effect on him’, Tameside Magistrates’ Court heard.

Aaron, who is a striker for Manchester league club Royton Town, was accompanied by his dad, a former England and Manchester United star, mum Claire and sister Alice, 17, at the hearing. Read more
