Physically challenged man donates N120,000 to Oyo gov-elect (Punch)

A physically challenged person in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Wasiu Nurudeen, has donated N120,000 to the state Governor-elect, Mr Seyi Makinde.

The donation, he said, was to support Makinde to defend his mandate before the election petitions tribunal.

Nurudeen, an athlete, disclosed this to journalists in Ibadan, the state capital, on Wednesday.

He said he donated the money in recognition of Makinde’s philanthropic gesture to the vulnerable over the years. Read more
