Arsenal fans haven’t had much cause for optimism over the course of the summer transfer window but a leaked video of their new Adidas home kit for next season has certainly set pulses racing.
The north London club ended their association with Puma to link-up again with the German sportswear giants for the first time in almost a quarter of a century, in a deal which will net Arsenal in the region of £300million over the course of the next five years.
Those funds are likely to boost a meagre transfer budget with reportedly stands at just £40m after Unai Emery failed to secure Champions League qualification last season.
As a result, Arsenal have struggled to agree deals for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, Sampdoria duo Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet and are even said to be considering selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in an effort to raise funds to meet Crystal Palace’s £80m valuation of Wilfried Zaha.
