The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday confirmed the location where the Lagos State University graduate, Adedamola Ogunbode, was buried, following the arrest of the principal suspect, Olaoluwa Ajisomo.

PUNCH Metro exclusively learnt that the prime suspect, rumoured to have fled to the Benin Republic, was leading police detectives in locating the burial site of the deceased.

The command’s spokesperson, Chief Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed both developments to PUNCH Metro on Tuesday in response to our correspondent’s inquiry.

The deceased, a Political Science Education graduate from LASU, had been missing since January 16, 2025, amid speculation that his mutilated body had been discovered.

Last Friday, the Lagos State Police Command announced the arrest of three suspects and the ongoing search for five others connected to the murder of a 2024 graduate. (Punch)
