Politicians are worse criminals, says defiant tricycle thief (Punch)

The police in Niger State have arrested four suspected tricycle thieves along Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

Abbas Kabir, 19, and lmrana Abdullahi, 21, both of the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna were apprehended by police detectives attached to the Command Special Anti-robbery Squad.

It was learnt Kabir and Abdullahi stole two tricycles with registration number KJ 587QA and TRN 437WSS respectively from Zaria, Kaduna.

Northern City News gathered on Tuesday that further investigation also led to the arrest of two accomplices, Ado Alhassan, 32, and Magagi Ibrahim, 21, both from Kano State. Read more
