Pastor Samson Farounbi has told an Idi-Ogungun Customary Court, Agodi, in Ibadan, that the small size of his penis made his estranged wife to deny him sex for a long period.
Farounbi disclosed this on Monday when testifying before the court on a case of divorce he instituted against Tope Farounbi.
He had requested the court to end the 19-year-old union on the grounds of unrest of mind, threat to life and lack of respect for his family. Read more

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Falck Prime Atlantic (FPA), a subsidiary of Prime Atlantic Limited, has kicked-off its free basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training, an initiative aimed at equipping 400 Nigerians with skills to save lives during emergency situations.
The programme with the theme: ‘Saving lives, one Nigerian at a time,’ began in Lagos, where some domestic workers and drivers were trained on CPR application, a step-by-step process of reviving an unconscious person. Read more
NDLEA opposes Akeredolu on cannabis, destroys 3,900 hectares in Ondo (Punch)
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has said it never advocated the growth of cannabis sativa for medicinal purpose or economic gain, adding that it had destroyed 3,900 hectares of cannabis sativa in Ondo State.
The NDLEA Chairman, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (retd), stated this on Monday, noting that he and the Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, did not go to Thailand to learn how to grow cannabis sativa for economic gain, as being reported in some quarters. Read more
Ecobank promotes healthy environment with plastic for cash programme (Punch)
Ecobank Nigeria’s campaign to rid the environment of non-biodegradable materials is yielding results as Lagos residents have continued to go the Lagos sewage treatment plant at Amuwo Odofin to exchange used plastic bottles for cash.
In a statement on Monday, the bank said that to mark its 2019 Sustainability Week, Ecobank Nigeria asked residents of Lagos State to submit used plastic materials like soft drink and water bottles to designated collection points to exchange them for cash. Read more

Woman dies during marathon (10TV)
A 22-year-old woman running in the Cleveland Marathon died Sunday after collapsing in the race.
University Hospitals spokesman George Stamatis says Taylor Ceepo collapsed at Sunday’s race and was dead on arrival at the hospital. He couldn’t provide further information because of patient privacy.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office says the cause of death hasn’t been determined. Read more

Tiffany Trump, the president’s fourth child, attended the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival in the South of France with her boyfriend over the weekend. That means US taxpayers are now on the hook for at least $20,000 in hotel bills.
The two were “all smiles” as paparazzi spotted them at the five-star Hotel Barrière Le Majestic on the French Riviera, the Daily Mail reported. As is true with all of the president’s five adult children, her latest trip also comes with a charge for a Secret Service detail. Read more
Brazil violence: Gunmen kill 11 people in bar in Belém (BBC)
Masked gunmen killed 11 people indiscriminately after bursting into a bar in the northern Brazilian city of Belém on Sunday.
The shooting happened in Guamá, a poor and violent neighbourhood of the city in the Amazon region.
Local media speculated that the shooting was carried out by a gang in retaliation for the deployment in March of federal forces to Belém. Read more

Vulval cancer: Woman undiagnosed for seven years (BBC)
A County Down woman who has had surgery following vulval cancer is appealing to women to check themselves and be aware of changes in their genital area.
Jill Gordon was diagnosed by chance in 2018, after her cancer went undetected for seven years.
Every year, about 30 NI women are diagnosed with cancer of the vulva, which is a woman’s external genitals. Read more
Semenya to contest 3,000-metres at Prefontaine Classic (Reuters)
Caster Semenya will compete in the 3,000 metres at the Diamond League’s Prefontaine Classic in Stanford, California on June 30, a distance she can race without reducing her testosterone levels.
Semenya, who has won two Olympic golds over 800 metres, has been adamant that she will not take medication to lower her testosterone levels to comply with new International Associations of Athletics (IAAF) rules.

Three-time Formula 1 world champion Niki Lauda has died at the age of 70, his family says, nine months after undergoing a lung transplant.
