Robbers kill priest on his way to bank to deposit Sunday offering (Punch)

A reverend father, John Njoroge, has been murdered by armed robbers, on his way to the bank to deposit Sunday’s offering.

Father Njoroge of Kinoo Parish in Kikuyu, Kenya was ambushed by four men who were riding two motorcycles, as he made his way to the bank, reports iHarare.

It was reported that after the robbers forced Father Njoroge stop, they demanded all the cash which he was taking to the bank.

However, the priest attempted to reason with the robbers, instead of complying with their directive. He was shot in the chest.
