Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, has insisted that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in reaction to a letter making rounds about his suspension from the party.
Sani, speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, made it clear that he joined the party voluntarily and will leave out of his volition.
“I went into the APC voluntarily and if I’m quitting, I will do out of my volition,” the lawmaker said.
Sani also revealed plans by the members of the National Assembly to impeach Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
“As it stands, the numbers to remove the Senate president are not there.
“It is dangerous to circumvent the law to remove the leadership of the National Assembly,” Sani added.
