In response to political developments in the country, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has rejected the rationale for the continued retention of the post of Senate president by Bukola Saraki as explained at a press conference on Thursday. According to the group, Saraki had argued at an event that he would remain in office until the ruling party controlled two-thirds of the membership of the red chamber.
