School in Native American let students wear ‘black face’ at events (Metro)

The Catholic boys’ school whose students were filmed mocking Native Americans in Washington have been slammed for allowing other students to wear black face at school events.

Convington Catholic High School has been forced to close down its social media accounts and website after a video of its students at the Lincoln Memorial went viral.

The students had been taking part in the March for Life, which had coincided with the Indigenous Peoples March on Friday.

Footage online showed a young man staring at and standing extremely close to Nathan Phillips, a 64-year-old Native American man singing and playing a drum. Read more
